2002 IFBB Dünya Vücut Geliştirme Şampiyonası Mısır’ın Kahire şehrinde yapıldı. Vücut Geliştirme sporcularının DOPİNG konusunda ciddi uyarılar yapılarak uyarıldığı şampiyona öncesinde alınan bu önlem ne yazıkki hiç bir işe yaramadı ve vücut gelişltirme sporunun katledildiği bir Dünya şampiyonasına
Dünya tanıklık etti. Bir çok vücutçunun ünvanı elinden alındı ve cezalandırıldı. IFBB vücut gelişltirme tarihine yanlışlıklarla dolu bir yarışma olarak tarihte yerini aldı.
IFBB vücut geliştirme federasyonunun dopingle mücadelesinin tam bir komediye dönüştüğü yarışmada hala bazı kategorilerde birinciler belirlenememiştir.
